Galbraith’s Research department undertakes client-based consultancy on a wide range of shipping sectors.
These include the dry bulk and tanker freight markets, sale and purchase, newbuilding and demolition. The department acts as a consultant to clients and produces shipping forecasts and freight rate advice. Confidential ad hoc studies are undertaken for clients and, in addition, other regularly updated reports are available to our clients.
The work the team undertakes ranges from commodity analysis to detailed forecasts for investment appraisals and strategy, plus general management support and advice. The broking departments are able to use this research to develop attractive opportunities for clients.
Members of the team are often invited to speak at international shipping conferences, reflecting the high standing with which the shipping community views Galbraith’s Research department.
